Metadata
Optimize content for find-ability, usability and accessibility
When a page is created or a resource is uploaded to the site, metadata (meta title and description) must be assigned to it. The metadata greatly improves a user finding the content through search and ultimately makes the site more accessible to users. Optimizing the metadata will improve the chances that an item will appear in the top search results.
The following require metadata:
- Any web page — add metadata to the page properties
- Video — add metadata to the asset in the DAM
- Podcast — add metadata to the asset in the DAM
- PDFs for white papers, case studies, articles, e-books, etc. — add metadata to the asset in the DAM
- Insights article page — add metadata to the page properties
